Process

My studio houses my own collection of wedding dresses, made from finest quality silks and French laces. These are high-end luxury fabrics, and really do look and feel incredible. To me, how a dress feels when its on is just as important as it looks, and my brides always comment on how gorgeous their dresses feel to wear.

I offer private consultations at my studio which usually last about an hour-and-a-half. This is a relaxed and friendly space where you can try on any of my dresses and we can discuss options for bespoke designs. I run all consultations and fittings myself, meaning I get to know all my brides personally, which I love.

When I’m commissioned I take your measurements, along with a deposit to enable me to start working on your dress. I’ll then begin drafting your patterns and working on your first toile – a mock-up of your wedding dress to check the fit and refine design details. Most dresses generally require at least three fittings.

Early booking is always advised. I like to be working on each dress for around six months. That said, I’ll always do my best to fit in brides with shorter deadlines – my husband and I booked our wedding only three months in advance, so I do appreciate that a long lead-time isn’t always possible!
