Elegant silk slip dress and lace top for a last-minute bride
Angela got in touch last-minute – just a couple of months before her Spring wedding – thinking she’d left it too late to have a dress made and enquiring about sample gowns instead. The time of year meant we did have capacity to work to her timeframe, and after trying on a selection of samples and collection styles, she decided she’d love us to create something for her.
Ange settled on the elegant and minimal Cosmos slip dress in that delectable oyster shade that I love so much, and paired it with a Sweet Pea ivory lace top. We kept the fit of her Sweet Pea top slightly oversized and boxy, and she wore her two-piece with a pair of stunning Prada heels that she’d bought when visiting New York about twenty years ago!
Intimate Lake District dog-friendly wedding
Angela and Mike had a gorgeously intimate celebration at New House Farm in the Lake District, in front of family and their beloved dogs, looking super smart in their special wedding bandanas (these were sorted before Ange’s wedding dress was!). Their ceremony was in the Cart Shed, where the glazed gable end looks out towards picturesque gardens and Buttermere and Haystacks beyond.
