Lace and silk wedding gown for a family-focused, stylish wedding day

Claudia was in the early months of her pregnancy when she first came along to see me, in the process of trying to decide whether to plan a wedding for before or after baby’s arrival. She then got back in touch a good while later, as a proud new mum to baby Beatrix, and came back to re-try on some of her favourite dresses.

Our timeless design Dahlia was the one that won her heart, and she chose a version with fully enclosed sleeves and a V front neckline, to which we attached the lace’s scallop edge for a touch of extra detail. The full flared panels in Dahlia’s skirt make the shape super-flattering and easy-to-wear, perfect for a family-focused wedding.

Claudia accessorised with one of our two-tier lace trimmed veils and a Debbie Carlisle Celine freshwater pearl hair vine, finishing her look off beautifully.

Luxurious Manor House celebration

Claudia and Jonathan were married at the stunning Manor House in Lindley – a dream of a venue with luxe décor and gorgeous surrounding grounds. Baby Bea made the most gorgeous tiny bridesmaid, and their beautiful dog did his best to steal the show during the ceremony.

And thank you so much for making the most amazing dress - everyone said how beautiful it was and it was so comfortable! The whole experience of having it made and wearing it has been lovely.
