Emma got in touch from her home in New Zealand to ask if I’d consider making her a dress for the English wedding she was planning for January. Emma’s family are still in the UK, and she wanted to be married here, and chose a beautiful venue in the Yorkshire Dales. Emma let me know her favourite two dress designs, and I made sure I had the fabric in stock for both, so that she could make a final decision when she got to the UK in December. She settled on Mimosa, to which we added long sheer lace sleeves, and she paired it with some stunning original vintage pieces: an embroidered veil, headpiece and fur wrap.

Emma and Craig married in January at the Devonshire Fell in Burnsall, surrounded by rolling Yorkshire hills, and made the most of the dark winter night with a firework display.

“The wedding was amazing, everything that we wanted. Hope you are able to be making dresses for weddings again soonish. You do it so well.” Emma
