Rebecca in Chrysanthemum

Feminine, floaty and romantic, Chrysanthemum silk wedding gown

Rebecca first came along to look at my designs at an Open Studio event, then returned for an appointment where she tried on Chrysanthemum and fell in love. The floaty three-layered circle skirt and simple, clean lines of the top softened with Nottingham lace trim make for a feminine, romantic silhouette, and worked so well on Rebecca. I made her a silk-satin hair bow too, which she swapped her veil for at their reception.

A fun-filled wedding at two Sheffield venues

Rebecca and Harrison married at two much-loved Sheffield venues – The Woodland Discovery Centre, then on to Kelham Island’s Yellow Arch Studios. Following their ceremony they braved the September rain showers to make the most of the surrounding ancient woodland for portraits. After drinks and snacks on the lawn with their guests, they hopped on the double decker bus to cross the city for a fun-filled reception at Yellow Arch, with great food and plenty of dancing.

I cannot recommend Kate enough! Buying my dress from Kate was an incredible experience from start to finish. Kate is a wonderful kind woman who made what could have been a stressful time so relaxed and peaceful. I enjoyed every single one of my appointments - from the first time we met and looked through all her fantastic dresses to that final fitting. I am so so glad I chose Kate - the dress I chose was perfect for me and my wedding!
