Astilbe dress

A layered lace gown combining two strikingly unusual French laces - Astilbe is an offbeat, bohemian dress with dream-like texture.

Worn over a silk-satin slip, Astilbe’s closely fitted lace top finishes just below the hips, where it shifts from a geometric scallop motif into a frothy, tulle-like lace skirt. The skirt’s lace is covered in abstract lines which flow gently to its undulating scalloped hem.

Plunging V necklines front and back and slightly gathered cap sleeves also feature the lace’s scalloped edge, while a row of satin-finish, pearl buttons beautifully trace the back.

Style with a satin or velvet sash for added shape at the waist.

Astilbe also comes as a shorter top version, to be worn over a silk slip dress.

We’ve paired Astilbe with three different coloured slip dresses to show how the subtle colour variations work together.
