Joasia loved Astilbe from the start, but along the way decided she’d rather the lace top finished at the waist rather than the hips, so her version became a bespoke one doing just that.

Joasia also chose an incredible two-tier lace-trimmed veil, which we had made for her. It looked amazing worn over her face as she walked up the aisle to meet James, in the stunning Cathedral Church of St Marie here in Sheffield.

After their ceremony, guests travelled up to Brosterfield Farm in Foolow to celebrate. Joasia is an Art Director and did an incredible job of planning and styling the day, from the wedding stationary which she painted and designed, to the incredible and enormous bouquet she commissioned from Moss & Clover. Guests were surprised by a performance by Polish folk dancers – none more so than Joasia’s parents who realised they were the same group who’d performed at their own wedding more than 25 years ago!

“Thank you so much for the absolutely perfect dress you made for me. I felt so incredibly lucky to find someone (that’s you!) who completely understood my style and remained calm as a cucumber when I started altering lengths and demonstrating with the donut ring. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience (who said wedding dress shopping was stressful – not me!) and as a bonus I’m really pleased I got to know you too. Enough gushing – thanks. Its been dreamy.” Joasia
