Thistle separates

An elegant pairing of ethereal textures and silhouettes - Thistle is a two-piece gown that blends delicate lace with fluid silk for a graceful, understated bridal look.

The sheer, delicate French lace overdress, with repeated botanical design, features a high boat neckline and slim long sleeves, with striking zigzag scalloped edges at the cuffs and hem. Silk binding frames the neck and runs down the centre back, where widely spaced, satin pearl buttons offer a refined finish.

Worn beneath is a rich, pearl-coloured silk slip, cut on the bias for a softly skimming silhouette, with a plunging back and flared skirt that falls to a subtle puddle train.

We’ve added a standalone ivory silk Thistle slip to the collection, and have a blue version in size 16-18 too, pictured over on the Astrantia page, worn underneath for a striking contrast.
